How old IS Celestia?
by ~ProAnnoyingnessI have a question. HOW OLD IS PRINCESS CELESTIA?! She and Luna had ruled for "hundreds of years"
before Luna went psycho and was banished for a thousand years. Let's say that "hundreds" is five
hundred, for the sake of easy numbers. This puts Trollestia at 1,500 years old. This doesn't make
sense. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!! In Season 2, it says that before Luna went psycho, they had ruled
together for another "hundreds of years" when Discord showed up. Once again, we'll say that
"hundreds" means five hundred. We will also assume that it went like this: 500 years of peace.
Discord. 500 more years of peace. Psycho Luna. 1,000 years of Trollestia ruling alone (which I bet
made her a bit power crazy). Episode 1.
500+500+1000= 2000. TWO THOUSAND years old. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!!! She and Luna spent the first
bit of time ruling together, but A: They didn't just start ruling Equestria when they were born,
and B: Luna is younger than Celestia. This makes her OVER two thousand years old.
PRINCESS CELESTIA, Y U NO MAKE SENSE?!?!
My opinion: her age is irrelevant: she´s a deity. Luna's age is "irrelevant minus about ten years" (thinking in "human years"). They may even age in a different way than other ponies.
Sorry if it´s confused. My primary language is not english. But I still like ponies....
