Homestuck OCs and Logic
by ~ProAnnoyingnessThis is 4 NE1 who wishes their Homestuck OC was canon. If 1 goes w/ the existing titles, there R 144 possible titles, 20 of which have been taken by existing,
canonical characters. This leaves 124 titles. Also, it has been hinted that Alternia was created by a team of 48 (when Karkat mentions "THE RIDDLES OF ALL 48 SIGNS
COMBINED"). Thus, if the pattern of the trolls creating Earth & the kids creating some other world persists, there R 48 logical OCs, though they would have 2 B
neither troll nor human. There is also mention of a team of 12 trolls that had existed B4 the Ancestors, whose failure resulted N the creation of a rather more
hostile social climate. Once again, NE OC COULD LOGICALLY B CANON. That is all.

First, Hussie already said that all fan-trolls are canon, even the bad ones. Because there is an entire planet full of trolls out there and if he isn't going to design them someone has to. Therefore, fan-trolls are already canon.
Second, uhh I'm sure other trolls existed before the ancestors because they had to come from somewhere, right? There are more than twelve trolls on Alternia, afterall. They are just called Ancestors because they happen to be the ancestors (the trolls whose genetic material plays the biggest part in that particular trolls genetic make-up, like a parent) of the trolls in the main group.
Also, the Scratch. The trolls that failed to win the game were also the pre-scratch versions of the main trolls ancestors. Meaning that the trolls that we know now used to be Ancestors to their ancestors. So those twelve from 'before' the Ancestors already exist, they are the pre-Scratch ancestors. They failed and scratched their session, making their session (and world) be marked by Lord English (Lord English is created by the glitch known as The Scratch). Doc Scratch, the servent of Lord English, was given the task of making the Troll species strong enough to survive Sgrub and succeed, which he did by making them more violent and (presumably) using The Demoness/Handmaid to wreck havoc and cause trouble. The scratch makes kids and guardians switch places, if you didn't know. I may be wrong but from what I understood of what you wrote you seemed to think that the first groups failure was recognized by everyone and therefore caused a "hostile social climate". While their failure did make Troll's more violent, it wasn't in the way you seem to suggest.
So, uhhh, there it is. I hope that you are up-to-date in Homestuck and I didn't ruin anything for you, but judging by the context of this post that seems rather unlikely. I'm sure you know who I am. You're welcome.
